Chapter 4 by Sgtwolf Sgtwolf

What do you find?

The kennel is paying how much?

One ad catches your eye as you scroll through the many many job listings. A local animal shelter/ boarding facility is looking. The ad read:

  • Help wanted at Raise the Woof, a local animal shelter and boarding facility.
  • Looking for young men comfortable with animals, and capable of training or being trained
  • Should be physically able to handle the labors of the job.
  • If accepted, compensation starts at 30 dollars an hour.

Well you never though about working with animals but you have always liked dogs and the pay is really good. Almost suspiciously so. You decide to at least apply, and fill out the attached forms.

The forms seem to ask abit more than you would have thought. Included with the standard info they asks about your physical stats, an attached photo, and living situation.

After filling it all out and submitting you get a response quickly asking if you are available starting tomorrow morning. They must really need help, so you decide to accept.

You text your parents to get off your back as you have a job lined up, and spend the rest of the night on your computer. You wake up early the next day, get ready and head out while the sun is barely up. It takes a while to walk through the brisk morning breeze, as you come across the address. The facility, Raise the Woof, is a large complex on a larger property, with high fences that you guess are to keep the dogs inside. You don’t here any dogs barking, and the facility smells very clean, which is a good sign. You walk inside, and see the receptionist already there.

Who is the receptionist?
