The girls talk...a little

Amber and Karen are friends with Ashley Smith. Amber's Mom used to babysit the Smith kids and she would often bring Amber and Karen along. They are good friends and would be best friends except that Ashley is a grade ahead of them. You all end the night with the girls agreeing to say that they had a sleep over at the Smith mansion in Green River City and were not out at the cottage. You drive Amber's car back to town with Karen riding shotgun. Bobby and Amber sit in the back.

Joe follows in your van. Riding shotgun is Ashley and in the back is a drunk and slightly unhappy Tom. He doesn't understand why he can't stay out at the party, it was those guys, not him. You park Amber's car in the Smith driveway and walk Karen to the door. Bobby does the same with Amber. Ashley led the way and tells you and Bobby that she will get the girls calmed down. She will also get an ice pack for Amber's foot as it is starting to swell from kicking Josh.

You take the wheel of your van and Bobby rides in front. You calm down Tom by going over to Smalltown and getting T Bell just before they close. You all go to your Uncle Jim's and with him being out of town, you guys have run of the place. Joe and Tom play videos in the basement and drink a lot. Bobby crashes on the couch in the living room. You have a bed here as you are here as much as at your Mom's house.

Karen calls you about 2:00 in the afternoon and greets you by saying she is grateful that you saved her and Amber. She then says that this is the earliest that she could talk to you alone. She says she still feels weird emotionally but is glad things aren't worse. She says Amber is more shaken up than she is. Could you have Bobby call her? You ask why and she tells you that Amber has had a major crush on Bobby and thought he was more into partying with you than dating her, that's why Amber isn't so nice to you. Except after last night, Amber thought Bobby might care about her. She also is thankful that you did what you did. You tell Karen you care about her and Bobby cares about Amber. You tell her she sounds tired and you will talk to her at school tomorrow. You tell Bobby to call Amber.
