The girls shower

Heather and Heidi decide that after the long, dusty sweltering car ride, nothing sounds better than a refreshing shower.

"The water system has not worked in some time," Dwyan admits apologetically. "However, the women have recently pumped some water up from the well. As our guests, you are welcome to use some of our valuable water to bathe."

"That sounds alright, I guess," Heather says. Heidi winces slightly, knowing how precious the water is to these people. But she says nothing.

The girls go out to the courtyard, where they manage to find some measure of privacy in the squalid town. Heather and Heidi strip off their clothes and begin bathing using an improvised shower. The water is very cold but invigorating in the hot African sun.

Heather runs her fingers through her long red hair, using the water to get the tangles out. As she washes, she gets the sense someone is watching her. She turns around and sees...
