The game challenge

As always Robert took charge and moved towards the old man.
“I think we will try our hands with the game. We are all amateurs of board games and if we put all our effort together we can overcome the challenge.” said Robert with confidence.

The old man look Robert in the eyes and saw hope shine in it. “If you think so. I must warn you. As I said earlier, the game corrupt. It will give you false emotion, false hope. The moment you will think you are winning, the game will take it away.” said the Eternal trying the warn the groups to the danger that lies ahead.

“Don't worry mister, we are pros of board games. We used to play a lot when we were younger. So How do we play it. I assume we don't play here on that weird ground.” said Melody

“You assume right deary.” said the Eternal snapping his finger.

A single moment later the groups found themselves in the old cabin where they were heading before being teleported to the Eternal world. The cabin was exactly how it was suppose to be, old and dusty. The only thing different was that the red sky could be seen through the windows and the wood was nowhere to be seen.

“Are we in my uncle's cabin?” ask Liam wondering where they were.

“Not exactly. I knew you were going there so I used your memory of the place to create a mirror image in this world. You will be far more comfortable to play the game here.” said the old man pointing at the table where was lying a old dusty wood box. The box was heavily decorated with carving of peoples having sex in different positions.

“I love the box.” said Melody turned on by the carving.

“Hey, it looks like the box in Jumanji.” said Liam is trying to joke.

“Now you will need to choose who will play. You can all play or you can choose a minimum of two players, one male and one female. If you choose a minimum of player the others could be used as pawns. When an event will be played you could choose them to play it at your place, but they will receive the bonus point..”

“It all seems very complicated.” said Sarah wonders if they choose wisely

“Not really. You throw the dice and your pawn will move on the board. Then you will play the event on that case. You will always have a choice to refuse the event, but you will receive a penalty for refusing. If you succeed you will receive bonus points. If somebody is available, they could be used to play the event in your place.” explain the old man “So now I will leave you to it. You must decide quickly or the game will assume you all play.” said the old man before vanishing in front of the group.
