The four of you

Sam's old car was pulled in front of the house. Seeing that she was the only one there, my heart began to flutter involuntarily. We pulled in front of Sam's car and walked up to the house. Paige greeted us at the door, hugging us in turn. Brad was through first, and was around the corner as I hugged Paige and removed my shoes.

I heard Sam embrace Brad, and before I could round that same corner a small Asian girl was hurtling towards me. She threw her arms around me, pulling me into a tight embrace. I let my hands fall to her waist, and wrap around her in turn. Her hair smelled good, her short little body bringing her head just under my chin. Paige and Brad stood there awkwardly watching us for a moment, before going into the kitchen to give us a slight amount of privacy.

After a long moment of feeling her against me, she lifted her head and said, "Thank you."

"What for?" I asked, looking into her big brown eyes.

"For being so amazing to me," she said, "Can we go for a quick walk?"
