The club

“Let’s get straight to the club then” Lucy calls back, “I fancy a good dance, and it’s cheap.” The three of you laugh, but you know its as good as reason as any.

“I assume that’s Zoots is it?” he asks as he pulls the car away from the traffic lights he had stopped at.

“Of course” you let him know. Two minutes later he pulls up outside the club, and giving him a little kiss you slide out of the car. Lucy leans over and kisses him goodbye as well, then joins you on the pavement.

There is only a short queue and you find yourself inside fairly soon, the two pounds entrance hardly making a hole in your pocket.

”Right, where first?” you ask.
