You beam down with phasers drawn. The away team was informed that there were a few lifeforms in the hidden base. Scans determined one of them to be one of the scientists. Thinking the worst, you assumed that the archaeologist was **** into disclosing the location of the base. You draw your phaser and set it to stun mode in preparation to beam down.

The teleporter room faded into the dimly lit base. Your eyes didn't have enough time to adjust to the lack of light and you noticed figures running around smashing devices and setting fires. You and the away team fire half blinded at the figures until the room goes silent.

"Hello! Anyone!" You call out expecting to hear the voice of the archaeologist, but nothing answers. He's either dead or was accidentally stunned with the natives, "We're Astrofleet!"

You blink several times to **** your eyes to adjust while ordering your team to search for anything important to send back to the Massachusetts.

You and the medic check on the Kelltians. It wouldn't surprise you that you couldn't recognize the archaeologist. They've undergone the most extensive surgeries in order to blend in. Even their organs are moved around in the event they get medically examined.

The appearance of the Kelltians was a little disturbing at first. They have an grey colored exoskeleton that click when ever they move. It makes them look like humanoid insects with their beady black eyes. You quickly get over the sight. They obviously think you're just as disturbing with your flesh.

"Sir, I found one of the archaeologists." The medic, Eva, says.

"Good job lieutenant," she smiled at your approval, "Is he stable enough to send back to the Massachusetts?"

"Yes, sir. He looks more than good enough."

"Excellent." You tap your comm badge and it beeps eagerly waiting for a command, "Massachusetts. We've found an archaeologist. One to beam up and send to medical."

"Aye, sir." The transporter chief's voice came over the comm.
