The assistant

"I actually came to ask about possibly getting a job here. I am thinking about going to school for medicine and I thought it would look good if I got a job helping out a doctor. And since you are the only doctor in town that fits in with what I want to do, I thought I would come in and ask you if I could help you out as an assistant." He responded as he came over to shake my hand.

"Really. I actually would love an assistant and I would love to be part of someone's education into the field of medicine. Why don't you talk to my secretary and have her give you the layout of the place and get you set up on our payroll and we can get started after I finish up with this patient I have now. She did seem to know you though." I suggested.

"Yeah, we graduated high school together a little bit ago. I didn't even think she knew who I was. Apparently she does. Can you do me a favor and apologize to her for me?" he asked.

"Yeah no problem."

Leaving John with my secretary, I went to the room with my scale to find Bella.
