The agents strain the pair with a distraction

As the agents tracking them recognized just how thoroughly enthralled Becky was by the sight of the plants, they began to formulate a plan to create a distraction. One of them silently headed down the hall, moving a safe distance away and entering one of the many warehouses. This one happened to hold mostly kitchen supplies, but was also connected to a series of secret tunnels that ran throughout the manor. One could get practically anywhere from here, and rather quickly as well, though spotting the entryway to the tunnels would be near impossible without knowing what to look for.

In the room, the agent proceeded to take a metal pan from its place on the wall, waiting for the signal from his associates before making his distraction. Meanwhile, the other agents kept close watch on their targets, waiting for the opportune moment.

"You don't understand, Liv! I could save so many lives! These plants... the alchemy I could do with them is so far beyond anything I've been able to do so far, I could learn so much!" Becky was getting heated, an unusual thing for the usually calm doctor.

"Have you gone completely insane?" Liv responded, her voice getting louder "We're in the middle of a mission-- a dangerous one at that! If someone happens to find us down here, completely unarmed, with you just sitting around stealing flower petals, we'll be--"

Just then, the agent sprung into action, throwing the pan down against the ground. A loud clattering noise echoed down the halls, traveling well down the acoustic stone corridors.

The Bravos stared at each other, their loud arguing cut off. The look they shared communicated a clear understanding of one fact-- someone else was down here.

"Come on, Becky, we need to go!" Liv said, grabbing the blonde girl by the arm, but Becky was already shaking her head.

"You go, see what it is. If they're a person, just keep going, don't let them see you." Becky outlined the plan--a plan Liv was certain they both should be using to get out of here, but Becky had other ideas. "I'll stay here. Shut the door behind me, and if they come looking, I can hide in one of the crates and slip out past them. This is important Liv-- I'm not giving this up!"
