The Voice

As Cassandra walks down the dimly lit street she comes across the spot where the accident happened. She stands there for a moment, thankful for the powers she now posses. Before she can turn to head home, a voice slithers into her mind, "You are not alone..." The creepy snake-like whisper fades away.

A chill runs down Cassandra's spine and she quickly hurries down the street. Realizing that whoever the voice belongs to might be watching her, she decides it might not be a good idea to lead him home. Cassandra tries to think of a safe place as she hustles down the road.

She decides the safest course of action would be to stay in a motel for the night. Cassandra texts her mom and tells her she'll be staying at a friends house for the night. She goes to the nearest motel and pays for the room with the tips she earned tonight. As she walks to her hotel room she sees a man push a woman against the wall and put his hand around her throat as he yells obscenities.
