The Truth

Her mouth opens up but words do not come out as the red head isn't sure whether she should lie to her boss and do what she can to cover her tracks or if she should just be honest with the older gentleman. "I uh, It was..."

"Look..." he starts, "No worries. Enjoy your night Kass!" he gives her a smile before turning the doorknob and pulling it open.

"Wait!" she starts, unsure why she's stopping the man from leaving, "Yes. Yes it was." she admits.

Stalling in his place, Marcus slowly pushes the door closed and tilts his head down to the ground. From Kassandra's perspective she assumes the man is disappointed in her for playing video games especially when they are in their super secret base, "Before you yell at me, I'm taking precautions, there is no way they can trace it to me at all, I only wanted to..." she stops as she watches Marcus give the girl a grin, "W-What's up?" she stops talking before she digs herself an even deeper hole.

"I fucking loved and still love World of Dragons." he begins.

"I'm sorry, I will sto..." Kassandra starts, thinking her boss was going to yell at her only to get caught off guard, "W-Wait, what did you say?" she turns shocked.

"World of Dragons?" he shrugs as he gives the red head a grin, "It's a good game! Addicting though."

"I-I-I...." Kass again stutters out unsure how to respond.

Marcus moves over to the desk by Kasper's bed and grabs the chair by it before wheeling it over towards Kassandra and sitting down on the leather seat. He leans back and stares over at the gawking eyes of the red head, "Oh Kass, come on now. What? Do you think I'm some old fart that couldn't possibly play video games?" he asks. "No need to be so judgemental!"

"No, that's not what..." she too leans back in her chair, trying to get more comfortable, "I wasn't implying that, it's just, well, you... you caught me off guard." she starts, "And just so you know, I am covering my tracks, there is no way anybody could ever trace this game back to me and our location!"

"Hey!" he shrugs, not giving a single care, "No worries, I don't care." he now leans forward, resting his elbows right above his knees, "Hate to brag, but back when I played, I was top of the world, best of the best." he casually says, trying to impress the girl, "Top percentage in player versus player battle grounds and even in one of the better guilds in the world in regards to killing bosses," he continues to boast about his skill in the video game, "So if you ever need any advice or pointers..." he gives her a wink.

Kassandra scrunches her face up and looks at her boss with confusion, "R-Really?" she asks out, still thinking he's only bullshitting her.

"Come on Kass, I figured with your expertise you would have dug into my past." he leans back again in his chair, "I did security before I came here, worked all day, got home, ate dinner at the computer while I did quests, raided five to six hours, passed out, repeated the process." he laughs a few times, "Hence why...Well, the divorced status on my dossier. Truthfully, I'm surprised you didn't already know all this?" his eyebrow cocks up at the red head briefly before continuing, "Now come on, open that laptop up so I can see how big of a noob you are!" he teases out before he leans forward and inches his chair closer, "Been about a month since I played and let me tell you what, God damn do I miss it!"
