The Teracotans

Are a vast empire to the east, with a massive army with magic and weapons, with all sorts of things such as Crossbows and curved swords, ruled by an Emperor and Empress/ess (Emperors take many wives all can be appointed to Empress status) at the top of a large caste system. On the bottom are the farmers and peasants who farm grains of rice or work the mines, next are the workers who build the fortresses and weapons and other things, next are the soldiers who conquer and defend for the empire, and then the leaders such as the Generals or the ownere of the Merchant guilds, and then the nobles: royal families, some can be generals and others simple advisers to the Emperor...

At least this is the main system which the Teracotans adopt, really the Teracotan Empire consists of several cultures and conquered kingdoms serving the Emperor, like the Hantai island clans, or the chieftains of the mountains, or even the kings of a few sand kingdoms. All these states listen to the might of the Teracotans... but still have bits of freedom in them and can even wage war with each other under the supervision of the Teracotans..

When the Dark Tower rose, the chieftains in the mountains and leaders of the sand kingdoms were the most affected, with the Teracotans bulding a great wall witb their magic isolating themselves and leaving a few of their kingdomes to their fate...
