John aimed the device at Scarlett and pushed the human button. Then he aimed the device at a nearby mannequin in a clothing store. A flash happened, and soon Scarlett was in the store window, nude and about to be dressed by the worker. A blank smile on her face.

John knew that it worked, but the Replacer could also replace humans with humans. John saw a mother and six year old daughter walking down the street, and also saw Kylie Jenner leaving the clothing store.

John pointed the device at Kylie, then at the six year old and replaced them.
