The Swampland

You don't really feel like going through all the trouble of casting a glamour, or of lacing your words with deceptive magic. You don't want to visit the elves, either. From what you've heard they're as intolerant of your kind as humans.

You also don't want to risk yourself by fighting a fanatic like the knight, so that just leaves one option - visiting the Lizardtoles in the swamp. You've met them once or twice before, and they've always been quite quiet and respectful (though it's possible you may have overawed them).

So, your course decided, you turn and walk off into the forest, heading for the lower-lying, wetter parts where the Lizardtoles make their homes.
