The Stage

I take a deep breath, then head over to the stage. It's where the action is, after all, as tons of guys I've told me during drunken nights that have led to bad decisions. Honestly, though, I doubt the talent at this strip club is anywhere close to Los Angeles or Vegas, but something entertaining might happen, anyways.

Taking a quick glance at my wallet, I actually have a couple of singles thanks to needing to pay cash at the airport for a few things, so I walk past a few tables, make my way past a waitress wearing too-tight shorts and a top with a few buttons opened, then sit down, a few seats down from a group of guys, who looked straight out of boot camp.

After a second, the voice of the strip club DJ, who sounds like every strip club DJ in the world from Timbuktu to Toledo, goes over the PA, as he says, “next up on the stage is the lovely and sultry...”
