The Road to Namina

The next few months were filled with travel and battles. The Legion swept across the land, defeating Chiron's Centaurs as promised to Xizar, and took many of their women as slaves for the Harem. While most of the male warriors died in battle, including the old Centaur leader Chiron, Janus and the survivors were given the choice of slavery or conscription. Janus chose conscription. It was Venus and Rose that realized that the only way to stop Valdin from using their own dead against them was to burn the bodies. Once this new weapon of war was on the field, the Legion quickly overpowered the castle's defenses.
