The Plan.

Jasmine sat across from Thaden reading the note he had been given by Freya. She looked at him and told him that she was duty-bound to follow what was in the note. She called her aide and along with Thaden's aide, they came up with their plan. Thaden would take his troops to the southern border of Queen Pargar's realm which was over the border of the Junice. Jasmine ordered that their defences be turned eastwards facing Talia where they expected any attacks to come from. They shared a drink and then wish each other luck and Thaden and his group left the camp to return to his own. Jasmine watched as the handsome man departed on his white stallion wishing him safe travels as the sun rose above the horizon. She returned to the army and walked amongst her troops smiling and offering encouragement for the days ahead. Her only regret was that they would be called to fight their fellow Amazons.

Katherine looked at Karleen and Freya now dressed in torn rags. "We can put in chains when we get nearer to our target" Freya looked at her and said, "If we do that we will be caught we need to wear the chains when we leave here so that we have the proper chaffing and red skin." Katherine saw the sense in this so the manacles and chains were brought out and each woman Karleen and Freya were fitted with them. They had their wrist and ankles manacled with a hobble chain connecting the ankles. Lastly a collar was fitted to each woman and a rope was attached to each so they could be led like slaves. Then they were led out Katherine tugging on the ropes and pulling them forward behind her horse along the dirt path heading towards Pragars palace. When they neared the city they saw the gates standing closed and Katherine stopped "Sorry it is time to gag you both" With this two sticks with thongs attached were secured in their mouths and Katherine resumed her ride to the palace.

In the palace, Sarah had gone to the kitchen and found the wine barrel destined for the palace dungeon and she dropped the special ingredients inside. Next, she dropped some into the barracks barrel and smiled as she knew this would aid in the escape from the palace once the plan had been completed. She headed back to her duties of cleaning and delivering food to the royal banquet hall and waited for Katherine and the others. Katherine had arrived at the main gate and was stopped and questioned by the commander of the city guard. She told him that she was travelling north to deliver the two slaves to her Mistress. The guard looked them over noticing how red the women's wrists and ankles were then informed Katherine there was no room to house the slaves. She then asked about the palace dungeon and the commander said he would ask and sent a runner up to the palace after a short wait the runner returned and said it was ok.

Katherine led Freya and Karleen into the underground dungeon the two slaves were placed in a cell and the door was loudly closed. Katherine was then invited up to the guard barracks to share some food and wine. Once the guards had gone Sarah slipped from her hiding place and with s stolen key opened the heavy gate and went inside and released Freya and Karleen handing them a dagger each. They went around the entire dungeon opening the doors and questioning the inmates. They soon discovered that Arerto had been taken from the cells to see the Queen by Melusa and had never been returned. This was not a good situation and they needed to find Katherine and inform her so they slipped from the dungeon leaving the inmates free. They walked along the corridor and found the armoury and Freya saw Arerto's armour so she reclaimed it so she could give it back to Arerto when they found her.
