The Pink one

       Vicky looked doubtfully at the first two books. The idea of summoning a minotaur or a female demon didn't sound like her definition of fun. Besides, being new to the school, her powers were still relatively weak compared to some of the other girls. She doubted that she would be able to control the dark creatures if she summoned them. Especially since they must have been something especially evil to be put in the Forbidden Basement.

        Vicky looked at the pink book that had a number of angelic symbols on it. It seemed out of place compared to all the old and dusty books with covers of all sorts of creatures and black symbols. 

          "Maybe it's here on accident," she thought to herself as she stooped forward and picked it up. As soon as it touched her hand, a small wisp of energy seemed to course up her arm and into her entire body. It was the same feeling she always got whenever in contact with something magical. It also helped her know whether the artifact she was touching was good, evil, or indifferent. Not getting a bad vibe from the book, Vicky slowly opened the book.
