The Morning

The harsh sound of her alarm pulled Chi back to reality.

Light was streaming through her window and her alarm clock told her she was running late.

It wasn’t until she was already up and looking around for her clothing that she realised that she was wearing her night gown again. Suddenly the memories of the visitor in the night came rushing back.

With more than a little panic Chi checked both herself and the bed over. In neither case did she find any evidence of the lovemaking that she was sure had occurred.

The pressure of being late made her push the whole thing to the side for the time being and even later in the day when she had some time to reflect she was quite happy to write the whole thing off as a strange dream.

Even if it had been the most vivid dream she had ever had.
