The Matchmaker

You pick up the phone and a quiet voice says, "John Lancaster?"
"Yes?"
"Have you received the message from the Compound Officer?"
You frown and reply, "What message?"
You hear a sigh followed by, "You have been selected for the new breeding program. You will shortly recieve the description of the woman selected for you by the Compound Officer. She will be your partner until one of you dies or they are required for another program at a different compound."

You sigh and hang up. This is the first program you have been a part of. Partners are selected from your own compound or another and you choose one for yourself. As a Blue you were modified to be sexually dominant but you have never had a partner, and so you're quite nervous about all of this.

The computer in the corner comes to life and the hollogram plays out the woman that has been selected for you.

Perhaps its not so bad.
