The Lights Show

You decide to head to the lights show. You hand the driver your bags and he gives you a dirty look. You were told you could hand your bags to be kept safe until later, but you feel a bit guilty.

The resort is as good as you can get. It’s so warm but it’s not the type of heat that’s gonna make you die of exhaustion. You buy a cold drink from the stand for $2. The rooms may be free, but any activity or food you purchase outside of the resort’s main facility aren’t covered. You can’t complain too much, it’s not like you’re going to be spending more than you can afford.

You spot Sofia on her phone sitting in the front row. “Anyone sitting here?” You ask.

“Nope.” She looks away from her phone and smiles at you. You take a seat next to her.

“So why did you come here so early?”

“Well, I wanted to get the best seats possible. I really have been looking forward to this. I don’t mind waiting a while, especially if you’re here as well. I do want to try everything else too. I know Ashley went to the beach, I bet Tatania is eating something expensive rn, and everyone else went to check in.”

“I guess I got to check those out tomorrow. Also, you’re right. We didn’t get a chance to talk at work. I guess we can do that now.”

You and Sofia talk about work and other stuff for a while until the light show starts. It’s a 2 day special and it’s probably one of the best shows you’ve ever seen. You’re going to remember this one. The lights show goes on for an hour before concluding.

“Hey, Sofia. You want to head back to the hotel?”

“Of course. Lead the way :)”
