The Forest
She took a hard left, racing out to the sports field. The softball boys were still having practice, especially with the tournament happening a few days from now. They didn't seem to care much about a girl running off into the woods, it wasn't the first time people tried to skip class. Alice's heart raced as she dashed across the field and into the woods, hopefully she had a good enough head start.
She turned back, giving one last look at the campus, just as a baseballer was knocked to the ground by an infected.
