I feel a sudden, inexplicable sensation that I'm being watched, my neck skin crawling. I glance over my shoulder, then to each corner of the room. I see nothing out of the ordinary, no suspicious movement, no telltale signs of an intruder. It could be my imagination, a trick of the dim, flickering office light.

I turn back to the computer screen, intending to continue my investigation, when I catch sight of a pair of red eyes glaring at me from just beyond the office window. A cold shiver runs down my spine, and my heart hammers in my chest. The eyes seem to be focused on me, their unblinking gaze unsettling.

My hands freeze on the keyboard as I stare into the darkness outside, my mind racing. The red eyes, glaring at me with unyielding intensity, seem to pulse, as if filled with an inner fire, casting a menacing, crimson aura upon the darkness beyond the window. It feels as if those eyes were capable of peeling away my very skin, revealing the raw nerves beneath.

Before I can form a coherent thought, the red eyes turn away, and a dark, shadowy shape crashes from tree to tree, swiftly disappearing into the night. As the shadowy figure darts from tree to tree, I make out a lithe humanoid form, elongated and predatory. The sound of twigs snapping and leaves rustling as it flees through the night, only serves to heighten my fear.

My heart thuds against my ribcage, a symphony of panic, as the image of the red eyes and the inexplicable escape of the creature beyond the window is seared into my mind. My limbs tremble, and sweat beaded on my brow, the overwhelming sensation of being hunted, of being exposed, filling me with dread.

Every muscle in my body tenses and the hair on the back of my neck stands on end, prickling, and the need to flee, to escape this dark, ominous office and its watchful, predatory gaze, consuming my thoughts. The eyes and the creature beyond the window serve as a chilling reminder that danger lurks on the campus of Williams Women's College.

A mixture of relief and disbelief washes over me as the moment of tension dissipates. My breathing begins to slow, and I finish my search through Morgan's computer. This brief, bizarre encounter only heightens my urgency to unravel the truth. I wonder if this fleeting, otherworldly vision might have been an omen.

I finish my search through Dr. Morgan's emails and documents, gathering all the evidence that I can find to support my suspicions. Carefully, I begin tidying up the desk, replacing everything exactly where I found it and taking care not to leave any signs of my intrusion.

The faint sound of my own breathing fills the room as I work. It's essential to make sure President Morgan won't have any indication of my unauthorized visit. Once the desk is back in order, satisfied with my work, I rise from the chair, the sound of it creaking beneath me. I walk to the door, taking one last look around the office before leaving.
