Marianne's flashback lasted only a moment. Soon she was looking at Sagus with focus again. She smiled and leaned in to kiss him. Her eyes started to close, as did his, when she suddenly stopped.

'Sagus?'

He kept his eyes closed. 'Yes?'

'Open your eyes.'

'Hm?' His eyes! Of course! Now that he was dead, the curse was gone. His blindfold was gone; he no longer needed it. He smiled slightly. 'You wanna see my eyes?'

'I've wanted to see them for so long.'

'That's right. You've never seen them before, have you? Heh. It's kinda funny that in our year together I've never taken off my blindfold in front of you. Now I can look at you with my own eyes.'

'yes...show me your eyes, please.'

He pulled his head away just enough. He smiled and opened his eyelids slowly, dramatically. Marianne gasped.

'Oh, my god! Your eyes....!' Two balls of pure white stared her in the face. 'Sagus, how did your eyes become this way!? Do you have the Eyes of the Arrow too!? Hm? What are you laughing about, Sagus?'

He chuckled. 'Gotcha.' He let his eyes roll down, letting Marianne see them for real this time.

'.....They're grey.'

'Yes.'

She gazed at them, then into them. She smiled. 'I like them.' With that, she resumed the kiss from before, this time completing it.

Their lips didn't separate for a lifetime.
