The Desert ends, the mountains begin.

Having decided to journey in the opposite direction of the dragon-folk, you journey on, until you reach a border of where fine sand meets with rocky shale. The Mountains. A range which looks even more domineering than before, you see eagles and gyrfalcons soaring high in the clouds above you. They look like black kites gliding about, they are so high up. Their bodies, appearing to be nothing more than black silhouettes against a thick smoky-gray overhang, as you shake your head trying not to let the height unnerve you.
Slowly, you press on.
You, a now fledgling adventurer have committed yourself to this path. There is no turning back now. And you try to stay steady, as you can feel the loose bed of shale constantly threatening to give way beneath your feet.
