The Champions

From the gathered throng, the 7 chieftains present their warriors.

From the Icefang Clan comes Josk, a tall young man with a thick braid of black hair. He wields a pair of handaxes. His eyes are cold, his expression serious. Like most Icefangs, he is no doubt direct and humorless.

The Elkhorn Clan presents Denni, a wiry boy with a shaggy mess of yellow atop his head. His eyes flick this way and that and a smile seems to never be far from his lips. A bow and quiver are strapped to his back, and his belt holds a short sword.

Somewhat reluctantly, the Old Tree Clan's champion steps forward. Her name is Hanna. She looks nervous, like the honor of being chosen for the Spear is overwhelming. She has short dark hair that falls into her eyes at times and she carries no weapon, but the blue lines tattooed on her cheeks and chin mark her as a sorceress.

The Red Blade Clan's champion is a confidant young woman named Ria. Her fiery red hair falls to the middle of her shoulderblades. She carries a sword and shield, and her green eyes flash with pride and self-assurance.

The Rockcrusher Clan offers forth a sturdy, muscular warrior. Brudd carries a massive 2-handed greataxe and little else, stripped as he is to the waist, despite the cold. His dark beard is full for one so young, and his hair is cut short. For all his size, his expression is jovial and eager.

From the Greywolf Clan comes Yolna, a pristine beauty with long golden braids and an air of calm superiority. She is armed with a shield and short-hafted spear. A pair of throwing daggers are tucked into her belt as well.

The Darkhaven Clan sends their champion last. His name is Karn. He wields a spear with no shield and his short red hair sticks up at odd angles. Like Hanna, he bears the blue marks of a magic user. Whether his scowl is one of anger or determination is difficult to tell.
