The Businesswoman

The businesswoman had the door open before Larry had even stopped the cab. Obviously she was a woman used to getting exactly what she wanted, exactly when she wanted. Larry almost chuckled to himself as he pulled out into the traffic. “Where to?”

“Airport.” The woman barked as she lifted her phone to her ear. “Get me Keith.” She ordered, her voice snappy and forceful.

Forceful was a good word for this woman, Larry thought as he watched her for a moment in the rearview mirror. Everything about her seemed to be under her control, but as he pushed a little deeper Larry saw something else.
