The Brunette Speaks

Sam continued to be speechless. What could he possibly say? He was thrilled by the idea of what Mr. Vandersloot suggested, but it also sounded completely ridiculous. Also, he lied before... What was there to stop him from lying now?

"Oh! I'm sorry," Mr. Vandersloot exclaimed. "Where are my manners! Sam, this is Cassie Tittle, she's one of our counselors and she's going to handle your intake procedure."

"Before we set you up with a bunk, we need to measure you for a uniform and perform a full-body exam."

"Uhhhh... Ok," Sam said, trying to downplay his excitement. "Sounds fun."

"Cassie was in treatment at Camp Everwood for three years," Mr. Vandersloot said with a big grin on his face. "And now she's one of one our most committed counselors. She knows how to make even the most boring activities extremely exciting."
