The Appointment

Leaving the room, Dany got in the shower, shave and washed himself down. He had a pit in his stomach and, He felt ill. His heart was beating so fast. He didn't know what to do, He sat down in the shower trying to calm down, Then he hit apathy, simply going through the motions. Everything became a blur. By the time he came to he was in Denis's car and they were pulling up to the redundancy office.

He felt the pit in his stomach get even deeper. He wanted to be sick. Denis opened the door for him, "I'll Get the pram." Danny got out of the car and lifted Haily. He was trying to distract himself with taking cair of her. It wasn't working. He couldn't shake the dread of what was going to happen. Denis slammed the boot cut and pushed the pram around to them. He took Haily and strapped her in. "Let's get this over with." Denis patted him on the back. He started to push Haily to the building. and Danny followed somberly.

The building was fairly large. As they entered Danny immediately noticed the other boys there. The reception room was like any other bland with a small table covered in unread magazines. The room was thick was the unified panic and fear in the people waiting. Some mothers were with there sons, Happy to certain degrees. Danny hated that about there culture. Mothers see having a redundant son as gaining a daughter. But some still sympathies with there sons. One in the corner was in tears. Denis grabbed Danny shoulder. "You shouldn't stair." and he nearly dragged him to the reception. a bubbly woman popped up from behind her monitor. She smiled at Denis. "Hello, handsome." Then she noticed Danny. "OH, do you have an appointment? or are you a walk-in?" He handed her the letter. and she read it quickly. "Ok you cutting it close, Take a seat and fill out this form." He grabbed the form and Denis walked with him to the chairs. He sat down and started to look at the form.

His name was on top of it followed by the usual information age, Date of birth, Ethnicity and Sexual orientation. The rest focused on his lifestyle.
