The "Real" World

When you get home you notice something odd, namely that is dark outside. Even though it is winter you went through the portal in the morning and you only spent a couple of hours there. Yet when you look at the time you find that it is nearly midnight.

You chalk that up as another thing you need to think about and book it out of there. By the time you get home you feel almost jet lagged.

Collapsing into your bed you let sleep take hold of you, after all you can think about what to do about the portal in the morning.
