Tell the truth

You decide you don't want to confess to your fiancee that you had oral sex with someone else. She did suggest you could have sex with others, but you didn't exactly ask for permission. And the whole point was so that you could experience full-on penetrative sex; you can experience oral sex with Lily anytime. You're not sure she'd approve of your decision, so you'd better play it safe, right?

"I totally left the butt-plug in, and they noticed," you mutter sheepishly, hoping your anxiousness about the lie-of-omission will be mistaken for embarrassment.

Lily blinks in surprise, then claps a hand to her mouth as she begins to laugh.

"Oh my goodness I can't believe they caught you! It's like every exhibitionist's dream," she says once her laughter begins to subside.

"What did they say? Was it awkward?"

"A little," you say honestly, recalling the pat-down.

You don't offer anything else, and Lily doesn't probe further. Instead she takes you by the arm as you collect your luggage. She teases you mercilessly for getting caught as you walk towards your gate, but you know it's all in good fun, at least for her. By the sound of her voice, you suspect she would have enjoyed being in your shoes.
