Tell her that you like her

"Promise that you won't freak out." you say, not sure yet if you can actually go through with this.

"I promise." she says, stopping and taking hold of your hand. "What is it Danielle?"

"I..." you can't believe you're actually saying this. "I like you."

She looks confused, obviously not sure how to interpret the word 'like'

"I've had a crush on you since the ninth grade." you clarify.

"You're a lesbian?" she asks.

"I knew it. You're freaked out aren't you?" you panic. "I shouldn't haven't said anything."

"Danielle!" she says almost sternly, as she takes your other hand and looks into your eyes. "I'm not freaking out. Clam down."

"Okay." you say, taking a few deep breaths. "I'm sorry."

She starts walking again, keeping hold of one of your hands. "Let's go out for dinner tonight."

"You mean like a date?" you ask excitedly and instantly regret it. What if that's not what she meant. Why would she? She's not even interested in girls... is she?

"Yes." She says. with a smile. "Like a date."

Stella takes out out to a nice restaurant. You've had meals alone together before bit this is different. Maybe it's just in your head but it feels more romantic.

After the meal Stella suggests a movie and you eagerly agree. You'd want this night to go on forever if it could.

As the movie starts, Stella puts her arm around you. You move closer, resting your head on her breast and wrapping your arm around her waist.

You spend the entire movie like that, cuddling with the girl you've had a secret crush on for years. When the night is finally over Stella drives you back to the apartment and kisses you goodnight.
