Tell Kara that you will meet her back here once Adam goes to sleep

Kara nods seductively. "Tell Adam I'm taking a bath."

You head back to the TV room. The movie has ended, and Adam is playing a video game. He looks up as you enter the room. "Want to play? I'm gonna go to bed."

"Sure, I'll play for a while. Is it cool if I crash on the couch here tonight?"

Adam yawns. "Yeah, man, no problem. Did Kara go to bed yet?"

"She's taking a bath." You hope that your voice does not betray your nervousness to Adam.

Adam nods. "OK, I guess I'll shower in the morning, then. If you need any blankets or anything, they're in the hall closet." He gets up and heads to his own bedroom.
