Tell Joanna that she was the accidental victim of a knife wound in a fight that took the lives of two mobsters and Ray

"Apparently, Ray was in trouble with the mob," you inform Joanna. "They sent a couple of... enforcers... to pay him a little visit. He didn't take kindly to it. There was a fight... they're both dead, so is he, and in the chaos, you took a knife to the leg by accident. I couldn't do anything for three corpses, but I could and did take you in and stitch you up."

"Ray..." Joanna gasps. "No... no... I..."

She breaks into sobs and you wrap your arms around her, saying nothing as you hold her against your chest. After a while, her tears stop flowing and she puts her arms tremblingly around you. You gently pull her closer. One of your hands is against her back and the other is resting on her shapely rump. "It's OK, Joanna," you murmur. "I'm here. I'll take care of you."

"Mark..." Joanna whispers. "You..."

You wrap your strong arms around Joanna and carry her to the bed. "Rest now," you tell her. "This will help." You hand her a sleeping pill and a glass of water. She swigs it down and in minutes is ****.

You remove your clothes and get into bed with her. You doze, awaken, use the bathroom and climb back into bed as she begins to stir. You wrap your arms around her, cupping her breasts, and press up against her from behind with your now stiff pole pressing against her rump. You close your own eyes and wait. Joanna comes fully awake a minute or two later.

"Wake up, Mark," she says, nudging you. You open your eyes.

"How are you feeling?" you ask.

"You're being very nice," she replies. "I feel... comforted by your presence."

You brush her neck with your lips, and Joanna giggles. "I don't want to pressure you," you tell her. "But you are very beautiful. Would you object if I asked you to indulge in the tender indignities of physical love?"

"What a poetic phrase," Joanna purrs. "Go right ahead. Just be gentle... and be careful with my leg."
