Chapter 2 by tallywhacker tallywhacker

take the tour?

Take the tour

Jur made its way to the greens and wasted some time watching some students with a frisbee while basking in the sun. It saw a faun in a blazer with some students gathered around and figured it to be the tour.

The school facilities were remarkably robust. Pendleton was one of the few colleges available to monsters and it was clearly the most prestigious. The Alumni were nearly assured success between the low acceptance rate and industry connections available, and it kept the university's coffers brimming. The prestige was enough to even attract humans, as the guide noted roughly 20% of the student body was human.

Looking around the group, there was frizzy red-head that seemed human, though she might have some fae blood. Jur thought her about a C-cup, a measure it felt confident in given her proper posture that pushed out her breasts.

The other students were wary of Jur; most of their species weren't renouned for predatory habits. It was regrettable, but Nurik was thankful none were amazons or seraphims.

Another less accepted member of the tour was an arachne. She seemed bookish and demure in her baggy sweater and glasses, but standing at 8'7" seemed to offset her attempts to seem less frightening for the other students. Jur felt a kinship with her and started conversing between locations.

"Hey, I'm Jur."

She was a little dumbfounded both by someone talking to her on their own and someone close to her height "Shira, nice to meet you."

"Got any ideas for a major?"

"I was thinking about Biological Construction."

"Oh yeah? I heard a lot of the buildings on campus were bioconstructs; its a good field to get into. Were you thinking about seed development or growth oversight?"

"Ah, I don't really know. I was leaning towards oversight, but I'd like to try both before deciding one way or the other. what about you?"

"Undecided. Sorry to disappoint; I didn't want to get my hopes too high before I got here."

"Heh, I know what you mean. I probably couldn't afford one of the other colleges."

"Yeah, I figured I'd take the general required classes the first semester. That way, I can check out department events and figure out my interests."

The tour concluded with the dorms and student facilities. The buildings had high ceilings and wide doors to accommodate the larger students, and the rooms were likewise spacious. The facilities included a rock wall, weights, a track, and two pools (one each for fresh water and salt water students.)
