Take the test

You wake in the morning and test your voice. It's still barely more than a whisper. You quickly get breakfast, do some last minute studying, and then head to Professor Porter's office for your make-up test. You make sure to grab your books.

"There you are, Simon. I thought maybe you weren't coming." Professor Porter looks imperious today.

You nod to her as you sit down in the student desk on one side of her office.

"You have 75 minutes to complete the test. You may used your textbook." She slides a test and a blue book onto the desk. She glances at her watch before saying, "Your time starts now."

You are glad you studied last night. Even with the book, you have trouble completing the test in the time given. You are nearly done with the fourth essay question when Porter calls, "Time!" You write two more words to complete the sentence.

The Professor collects your blue book and test paper.

"I'll have your grade ready by Monday. Come to my office hours. Have a good weekend."

You leave Porter's office.
