Run!

Take the shortcut

As I emerged from the dorm, the nearby stoplight was about to change back, and I realized I'd lose at least a full minute or longer waiting for the crosswalk signal. Instead, I hurried up the street toward the shortcut that some of the dorm residents used to reach certain campus buildings more quickly. Technically, it was jaywalking to cross at this point, but I doubt it was ever enforced. Watching the traffic, I soon spotted a sizeable gap between the vehicles coming from both directions, and as the openings coincided, I bolted across the street.

With each stride, I realized how much easier it was to run in this skirt compared to any of my longer versions. Due to its short length and freedom of movement, the material glided easily with my jogging motion. It even felt better than any running shorts I'd ever worn during PE in high school. Meanwhile, the breeze across the exposed areas just below the skirt felt amazing. Although I'd never considered running for exercise, I now wondered what I'd been missing.

Within a few seconds I was across the road and running up the alleyway on the far side. Continuing my sprint, I passed a delivery vehicle, several dumpsters, and eventually a pair of guys who'd evidently chosen to utilize the same shortcut from the nearby male dorm. As I jogged past them, one made a wolf-whistle, which I assumed was directed at me. I'm sure some girls might be offended, but I actually found it flattering - it was the first time I'd ever heard a guy whistle their approval for me.

Upon exiting the alley, I sprinted through the grassy area along a narrow foot-trodden pathway formed by years of students taking this route. Eventually it joined with a nearby sidewalk, and I followed it up to the nearby building's rear entrance. So far so good.

After skipping up the steps I pulled on the door, and my heart sank. It was locked! As I began to test the adjacent door, I spotted a sign in it's window that read 'Closed for Maintenance. Use Main Entrance.' Crap! The main entrance was all the way around on the opposite side. Running back down the steps, I looked over toward the central clock tower to check the time. I had less than 5 minutes, and I doubted I'd be able to get around the building, climb the outer steps, two sets of inner stairs, and traverse a long length of hallways to reach my class in time. Yet that was exactly what I had to do.

Immediately, I broke into a run at my fastest pace. Although I'd never been very athletic, my long legs had always allowed me to be one of the faster girls in my class. With every bound, I felt a rush of air across my pussy and a tap of the soft fabric fluttering over by bottom. At the same time, by breasts were heaving with my rapid breaths and bouncing with each stride. Although my blouse and bra worked to contain them, it felt as if my boobs were trying to break free with every footfall.

As I passed a one-way emergency exit, I realized I was half-way to the other side. Far ahead, I saw the busy sidewalk that connected to the main entrance. Although I felt my legs already beginning to tire, adrenaline allowed me to keep the pace. Nearing the sidewalk, I saw several students on the path had begun staring at me, apparently wondering why I was running at full speed. Then I turned and cut a diagonal toward the steps, hurdling over a short row of shrubs on my way. Briefly, I realized that anyone watching me likely got quite an eyeful from that maneuver, but I didn't care. Getting to class on time was the only thing that mattered now.

Taking them by twos, I ran up the steps and into the building. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the nearby elevator door close, so I headed into the stairwell and began running up, taking those steps in twos as well. As I ascended, I ran past some other students up to the next landing. Still running, I turned toward the next flight and then BANG!

I collided with a red-haired boy, sending him to the floor. I nearly lost my balance but managed to catch the rail to avoid falling onto him. Straddling over his upper torso, I looked down and quickly apologized. "I'm so sorry! Are you ok?"

"Watch where you're..." he started angrily, but then his eyes refocused and his tone suddenly changed . "Um... I'm.... I think I'm... I'm gonna be fine. Could you just wait a moment while I catch my breath?"

I promptly recognized where he was looking and what had changed his demeanor. Though I felt awful for knocking him over, I figured the view I'd given him made up for it. "Sorry," I replied, "but I'm going to be late for class." From there I ran up the next set of stairs to my floor, and made a beeline for class. Just before I reached it, the door went closed. Oh shit! I'm late!

Late for class
