You decide that this scene needs to be moved behind closed doors. You pick her up and bring her to the bathrooms near the food court. There’s a family bathroom that is spacious, and it usually has first aid supplies. You hear inside.

You put the girl on the counter next to a sink, placing her head against the wall-sized mirror. You check her purse for identification. Her state ID says her name is Tina, 18 years old and living near the mall. Her student ID says she goes to Holy Cross, an all-girls private school near your neighborhood. There’s a photo of a boy - about your age - in her wallet, and he looks familiar to you. Does he go to your school?

You look back up at Tina. A few small drops of blood fall on her sweater, staining it. He legs are spread, and her skirt is bunched up on her hips. You see her baby blue panties, completely exposed in the light of that dingy public restroom. Your own face catches your eye, hovering just behind Tina.
