Take Daena back

You wake up feeling the baby kick your arm that is wrapped around Daena's belly. The reality hits you like a two-by-four. You're going to be a father. You're going to be a father in a primitive time without doctors or painkillers or antibiotics. With wild animals, marauding humans, volcanoes, and other dangers. You start to panic. Babies and mothers still die in the future. How much worse is it here? You decide you've got to go back with her.

Daena is sound asleep after your energetic coupling. You poke her and kiss her, trying to wake her up. Groggily, she opens her eyes, saying something you think sounds like, "What the fuck?" You urge her to stand up, but it takes awhile for what you want to sink in. Finally, she's on her feet, and you pull her toward the alcove. You both step through, and there's a flash.

You both are standing in the dressing room. Daena shrieks and cowers, gripping your arm tightly. You hold her and kiss her, and she falls into the kiss completely. She calms down enough for you to strip out of the cave man costume, put your own clothes on, which she finds fascinating, and to leave the dressing room. You quickly search the costume shop for an appropriate costume.
