Tag

Ralph decided to tag the woman, whatever that was. The others sounded like things that needed more privacy or something. "Tag her," he thought, and a red nimbus suddenly surrounded the woman. At the same time, he sensed the presence of a roster of some sort, with this woman on it. No-one else seemed to notice the red nimbus. He realized that he suddenly could hear the people speaking. They were all speaking about the luck of finding a ship almost intact, with bodies. Ralph was getting fatigued, and he realized that he could command the alien device off, so he did.

Suddenly, he was back in his car, and the cable was reeling back into the case.
