Taboo Gentleman's Club.

(Disclaimer: I don't know shit about strip clubs it's just fiction)
Beth arrived at Taboo at around 6:45 PM. She parked in the private dancer's lot, which was limited access and for that she was eternally grateful. She nodded to Hank and Steve, the two enormous security guards who stood by the dancer's entrance. They did a marvelous job of discouraging looky-loos and stalkers from harassing dancers as they entered and exited the club, or from getting too curious about the cars in the fenced off lot. They were big, wide mountains of male flesh, but they were both big teddy bears when it came to the dancers at Taboo. All the girls liked them, and the other bouncers and guards were just as good. She could say plenty about how skeevy Horace was, but he had a good eye for employees. There was a reason that competition was fierce to dance at Taboo, and that the clientele were, for the most part, well-behaved.
"Hey, Bailey." Steve gave her a big smile. 'Bailey' was her dancer name.

}"Did... Lena talk to you about Saturday?" "Lena" was Lindsay's stage name.
"Absolutely. I've got you. I'll even pick you up in the Hummer and drop you back home when you're done."
"Ok...ok."
"You alright?"
"Yeah...just... private parties, you know?"
"You've got nothing to worry about, I'll be there."
"Thanks, baby." All the girls called Steve "baby" because of his baby face.

"It's a no go for me, Steve."
"Aw, too bad."

} She headed inside, putting her stuff away in her locker before pulling on her outfit for the night. Angel, a platinum blonde dancer with DD fake tits and a southern drawl, confided in her as she was touching up her makeup mid-shift. "If I were you, sugar, I would avoid Horace tonight if you can."
"Why?"
"Well, an hour ago, he and Gary got in a big argument. Gary quit." Gary was another one of the "security personnel" at the club.
"Fuck! Why does he have to be such a prick!"
Taboo was a great club. It was clean, it was safe, and the clientele was, for the most part, well behaved. It attracted quality dancers, for this reason, and the money was very good. If there was a single skid mark across the whole experience, it was Horace Baker. A pudgy, alcoholic narcissist who managed the club on the weekends, and he was a real dick about interviewing all new talent. Terry Baker, the owner, was Horace's uncle, and it was pretty obvious nepotism that kept him in the position.
"I think it had something to do with stiffing Gary on overtime." She shrugged. "The short of it is, we're down one bouncer on a Friday night, and instead of trying to find a new one, Horace is road testing some 18 year old thing who wants to dance here."
"What a pig..."Beth rolled her eyes. Horace always tried to "road test" dancers who wanted a job...and some were dumb or **** enough to let him, or naive enough to think that's how things worked in the industry.
Beth got into character, wearing her signature "catholic schoolgirl" stripper costume. She wore some variation on the outfit at least 80% of the shifts she worked.
