Surrender

Looking outside, you see that the fighting has died down and several Arachne are moving up the street, breaking down doors and entering houses. A few minutes later, they leave the house, followed by its occupants, all naked except for a collar around their necks.

Well, if that's what they're going to do anyway...

"Answer me truthfully," she says. "Is there anyone else in the house?"

"No."

"Good. What is your name?"

"Tarissa."

"That is a pretty name. Mine is Flixa. Now, follow me outside, and wait with your fellow slaves as I clear the remaining houses. Do not speak to them. Do not interfere with any of the **** collars, or the bracelets worn by any Arachne."

You stand up and follow her outside, walking shamelessly out into the street.

A few minutes later, each of the Arachne watching the group gives the order to follow them. You find yourself walking closely behind Flixa. Every time she looks back, she catches your eye. A couple of times she even winks.

You are led to the village hall, where Flixa gives more instructions. "Everyone except Tarissa is to follow these instructions. Tarissa, you will have to as well, but you will wait until I give you leave. Stand with your fellow slaves in the middle part of the floor. When someone stands on the stage, give them your full attention and listen to what they say. Then you will wait for further instructions."

The people around you move further into the hall, leaving you standing alone in front of Flixa.

"I am going to be honest with you, Tarissa. I like you, and I want you to be my broodslave. However, because I like you, I will give you a choice. Should I keep you as my broodslave, or would you rather take your chances being sold at the slavemarket? You may speak to answer."
