Stick it out and hide.

A few minutes after the quiet, "Hello?" you hear more voices.

"Doesn't look like anyone else has fallen for the 7-11, lets go check the school." You hear a male voice exclaim, followed by at least a dozen different footsteps walking away from the store.

Just to be safe Timmy waits an extra ten minutes, staring around the store paranoid as hell. The time wasn't wasted as he managed to snag and hide a few of the top shelf magazines for later shile he waited, a Playboy, a Penthouse, and a Hustler rom the previous month. Risky, but if he was going to be stuck in a bunker with his mom and sister he'd need a way to blow off steam. Contraband secretly stored, area quiet and calm, Timmy sneaks out the side door and back the way he came.

Seeing the lid to the shelter Timmy knocks to be let in. While waiting he grabs a nearby trash can lid and fits it over the shelter opening to make it less obvious since there are some gangs around the area apparently.
