Stay with Gary

Leanne didn’t feel comfortable being out in the open right now. Especially as she was still half naked and putting on the dress wasn’t an option. She had no idea whether Dan really was the clown or not but staying where she was would at least keep her safe. “I… I think I’m gonna go sit down for a while,” she told Gary.

With one last lingering stare at the terrifying clown costume Leanne turned and headed back to the sofa. She flopped down on the frayed couch and rested her head on her hand. She tried to think back to where the whole volunteer experience had gone so wrong and what else she could have done. If she’d known these things went on in Rosefield Manor she’d never have signed up in the first place.

After a few minutes of going over the last few hours she heard Gary’s voice. “I’ve got to go upstairs to help one of the residents. Do you want to come with me or just wait here for Dan to come back?”

Leanne thought about her options. She didn’t really like either of them. She still wasn’t sure if Dan was the clown or not, so the potential of being alone down here with him filled her with dread. On the other hand walking around upstairs and being **** in the open wasn’t so appealing either. She glanced up at Gary. His chubby face peering at her as he waited for her answer.
