Stay In

"Nah man, that's OK. I think I'd rather just stay in" you reply "You wanna play somethin'?"

Dave gives you a slightly relieved smile "Sure". You make some room on the bed for him and hand him a controller. You both begin to play the game that was left in the console, some sort of shoot 'em up. As you play, you chat.

"So, what happened last night?" asks Dave.

"Ah, I don't really want to talk about it." you say.

"I'm sure you'll find someone soon enough, just gotta keep putting yourself out there" says Dave supportively.

"Yeah right. Maybe I should just give up on women" you say with a half joking tone. Dave laughs, but there's a nervous edge to it. "How about you?" you ask.

"How about I what?" asks Dave, a little unsure of what you mean.

"How's your dating life going?" you ask directly.

"Oh you know me Josh, I'm beating them off with a stick" he mocks.

"You'd probably do better if you beat them off without the stick, just sayin'" you retort. Dave blushes a little at your innuendo.

Dave seems the shy sort. You could use a little of your demonic powers to help things along, or perhaps there's a more mundane way.
