Starting Slowly

"Okay James, I can only have so much fun with you as a statue. Once I snap my figures you will be restored to normal. However, you will not speak or move until further notice. You may as well still be a statue, for now at least.

The woman snapped her fingers and James began to feel lighter again and able to move, had he not been commanded not to. Instead he remained rooted in place in an undignified squat.
