Start at the bottom

"So, tell me about the convent," Krystal ordered her new disciple, "how many nuns are here?"

"Seventeen, Mistress," Claudia replied. "Not counting the Abbess."

"And the nuns do what the abbess tells them?"

"Of course."

"She'll be the key, then," Krystal mused. "What's she like?"

"Mother Costanza is a very smart, very disciplined," Claudia replied. "It's unusual for a nun to be promoted so high when she's only in her 40s, but the Church hopes vigorous young nuns like her can revitalize the order. There aren't really enough of us left to do our job."

"And what job is that?" asked Krystal.

"We're a teaching order -- we run a girls' school. The bishop hopes that a young nun like Mother Costanza can convince more girls to enter the order. She's already won two students over and gotten them to take their first vows."

Krystal smiled. Catholic school girls... that might make up for the dried-up prunes she'd have to seduce here, even if the mother superior was fairly young. But back to the task at hand.

"So, would you say the abbess is ambitious?" Krystal asked, probing for a weakness.

"Not overly so. She's quite devoted to the church, and accepts any task they set her.

The abbess might be a hard nut to crack. Krystal needed more power before she moved against a woman like that.

"So the abbess is unlikely to see the error of her ways as quickly as you did... We'll need some help then," she decided. "Best to start at the bottom" -- she illustrated the point by slapping the naked nun on hers -- and work our way up." She ran her fingers up the fallen sister's spine. "I'll need some clothes if I'm going to move around here," she decided. "Why not kill two birds with one stone? I want you to send down someone with clothes for me. Someone young, weak-willed, inclined to take orders. One of those new girls, perhaps."

"Yes, Mistress," Claudia agreed. She started for the door, then turned back. "Once you've converted the other sisters..." she began. Krystal indicated that she should go on. "Will I get to do with them what we did, or will they all be for you?"

Krystal laughed. "Don't worry, my little slut," she said. "I like to share."
