Standard Matches

Standard matches, as the name implies, form the vast majority of the ECL’s fights. These are outwardly similar to professional wrestling matches, but there are some differences from the procedures of most other pro-wrestling promotions.

Matches last fifteen minutes, with no round or fall divisions, during which time fighters attempt to score points. The fighter with the most points at the end of the time limit wins, unless there is a tie, in which case a sudden-**** tiebreaker round begins; the first fighter to score a point in sudden **** wins.

Points can be scored as follows:

Pinfall: 1 point. The scorer must pin both of their opponent’s shoulders to the mat for three continuous seconds.

Submission: 1 point. The scorer must **** their opponent to offer a submission, either physically (usually by tapping out) or verbally.

Domination: 1 point. The scorer must sexually dominate their opponent for twenty continuous seconds. The definition of what qualifies as “domination” is often highly subjective, and is therefore usually left to the discretion of the referee and other officials.

Knockout: 2 points. The scorer must knock their opponent ****; this is considered to have been accomplished if the opponent is unresponsive for ten continuous seconds.

These scoring methods may be combined as necessary.

While fighters are not required to return to their corners after scoring, it is customary to do so. The decision of whether or not to abide by this custom is left up to the reader’s judgement.

All fighters must remain within the ring at all times, unless they are re-entering the ring after being thrown or **** out. Should they fail to do so after ten seconds, the referee may use their discretion to apply a punishment.

Matches with more than two sides—usually triple-threat or royal-rumble matches—are scored under standard rules, with the exception that a fighter who would lose a point in a royal rumble is instead eliminated from the match.

Use of atypical tactics such as employing weapons or sex toys against an opponent or enlisting the help of a fighter not booked in the current match is frowned upon.
