Chapter 6
by The Night
What will Lucky Girl do?
Stand her ground
Taking a fighting stance, I glared at the vile villianess. "Bring it on you wanna be Domme. They don't call me Lucky Girl for nothing." Night rolled her eyes. "Just seize her boys, this is getting bothersome." The men then advanced on me. I took a shot at one of them and thankfully felt the familar feeling of a glass jaw. He of course tumbled into the next guy which started a domino effect. Every time I dodged, the strike would get someone else or they'd loose balance and tumble into another. I was holding my own but it wasn't long before someone got a hold of one of my arms. Before I could throw another punch, another man grabbed hold of my other arm.
The pulled me and slammed me against a wall. I fought against their grip but my luck wouldn't make me any stronger. On the other side of the crowd, I could see Night laughing. "I must admit that was amusing but pointless. Face it Lucky Girl, you are...."
She never finished that sentence as the roof suddenly caved in and through it, fell something. Looking at the center of the destruction, I felt hope once again. Standing there in a crouched position was a muscular man with a firey head of red hair. Though he had the body of a man, his skin was a dull shad of orange and covered an scales. He had horns, sharp eyes and claws. There was also the wings and his spiked tail twitching behind him.
He glanced towards Night who had a look of shock on her face. Saying nothing, he just snorted. Creating a small puff of fire from his nostrol. "GET HIM YOU IDIOTS!!!" She yelled pointing at the superhero. The goons all pulled guns and started firing at Firebreather only for the bullets to create sparks as the bounced off his scales. Firebreather then gave a toothy grin before he launched himself in to the fray.
Guys went flying almost immeditely. Firebreather was basically a dragon packed into a human form so they stood no chance. It was then that I noticed the goons holding me where distracted. I stamped my heeled boot down on one of their legs. Yelping in pain, they let go before turning to hit me with a hook. I ducked and pulled the other goon holding me down into the path of the hit. As he crumpled to the floor, I backed up as the other guy approached me. He didn't get very far as another guy came flying into him.
Lady Luck was once again on my side. I was expecting the Scarlet Knight but Firebreather? These guys didn't stand a chance. As I watched these clowns get their a**s kicked, I spotted Night. She was creeping out the door. "OH NO YOU DON'T!!!!" I yell as I bolt after her. Upon seeing me coming towards her, Night sprinted. I chased her out on the bow of the ship which was lite up by overhead lights. With no where to go, Night stopped and turned to me. I stood there with a superhero pose. "Now who has no where to go?" I mocked. Night simple cocked her hips. "Game isn't over yet Lucky Girl.
All of a sudden, my body moved on it's own. Even stranger, I found myself mimicking Night's pose. "What....what's going on?" It was then that I noticed Night's shadow. I was standing right in it. But how could that be? He shouldn't shouldn't reach that far. "Hmhm, figuring it out deary?" Night said as she struck some poses. My body mimicking her every move perfectly. She had some how possessed me with her shadow. "They don't call me Mistress Night for nothing. She then began to walk towards me, causing me to do the same. "Now that I have you in my clutchs again, maybe I can get off this boat. I'm sure that freak inside wouldn't risk harming you." I had to do something. This was the first time I had ever gotten to work with a real superhero. I couldn't end up being a damsel in distress. But what could I do?
What will happen to Lucky Girl?
