Where does he go first?
Sporting House
Snake tied his horse to a post in front of a two-story frame building. It was the prettiest building in town with gingerbread decorations, fancy windows, and a full balcony overlooking the street. The sign in front read “Miss Molly’s Sporting House”.
Snake walked into a lush parlor of red velvet and overstuffed chairs. To his left he noticed a small bar on which several bottles of liquor waited. To his right was a sitting room in which he noticed several large couches and a small table around which four young ladies played cards.
As soon as he entered the parlor, a buxom woman with flaming red hair approached him. “Welcome to Molly’s, cowboy!” she smiled a warm welcome. “I’m Molly; what’s your pleasure?”
Snake took off his wide hat. “Hello, Mam, I’m Robert Lee Jackson. You sure have a lovely place here. I was wondering if a fella could get a bath and enjoy some company here?”
The woman’s smile widened. “Son, you’ve come to the right place. This being the middle of the day, not all the ladies are available, but I’m sure we can find you a proper young lady to attend to your needs.”
Molly pulled a velvet cord that hung against the far wall. Within a few minutes four young ladies entered the room, each dressed in a light robe covering a silk corset. Miss Molly began the introductions: “Ladies, this is Robert Lee Jackson. From the sound of him, I’d wager he’s up from Texas. He’s like a bath and some company.” Then turning to Snake, Miss Molly continued: “Cowboy, I’d like you to meet Belle,” she pointed to a very well endowed girl in her mid-20s who wore her red hair up high. “This is Sally,” the second young woman was an Oriental girl who wore a long silk robe and long, shiny black hair. “This is Emily,” Miss Molly now pointed to a slight girl who looked about 18. Emily had curly blonde hair and very small breasts. “And this is Ingrid,” the final girl worn her long light-colored brown hair in a braid down her back. Robert noticed that she spoke with a strange accent.
“So, Robert,” Miss Molly again faced Snake, “do you see someone you’d like to spend time with?”
Snake looked over the four girls. Each smiled invitingly. He licked his lips and pointed.
